Project Objectives

Our research is guided by four primary objectives that aim to bridge the gap between digital innovation and legal frameworks.

  • Investigate
Examine how digitalisation affects Private International Law rules in Hong Kong, focusing on data flows, online dispute resolution, and cryptocurrencies.
  • Create
Develop comprehensive legal frameworks that address the unique challenges posed by digital cross-border transactions and interactions.
  • Apply
Translate research findings into practical legal solutions that can be implemented by policymakers and practitioners in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
  • Disseminate
Share research outcomes through publications, conferences, and policy recommendations to influence legal reform and academic discourse.
